OVERVIEW

As the Associate Creative Director, your role is crucial in overseeing the concept development and execution of innovative strategies for various client campaigns and initiatives while maintaining their brand tone and voice. You will be responsible for leading a team of design professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our client’s marketing and creative vision. Additionally, you may engage external consultants, freelancers, and agency partners when needed.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Concept Development: Lead the ideation and development of creative concepts that align with our client’s brand tone and voice and support the overall strategic vision of the department. This involves generating new ideas, exploring design trends, and pushing boundaries to deliver innovative solutions.

2. Creative Strategy: Develop creative guidelines and strategies that guide the execution of visual elements, messaging, and brand storytelling across different products. Ensure consistency and coherence in the creative direction while adapting to market trends and consumer preferences.

3. Team Leadership and Mentoring: Provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to a group of design professionals, such as graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, etc. Foster a collaborative and inspiring work environment that encourages creativity, growth, and skill development within the team.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including strategists, marketers, copywriters, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment between creative concepts and overall brand strategy. Engage in effective communication and foster strong working relationships to drive successful outcomes.

5. External Partnerships: Coordinate and manage relationships with external consultants, freelancers, and agency partners. This may involve sourcing and selecting appropriate external resources, overseeing their work, and ensuring their deliverables align with project objectives and brand guidelines.

6. Brand Equity Maintenance: Uphold and strengthen our client’s brand tone and voice across different portfolios by overseeing the consistency and quality of creative executions. Ensure that the creative work reflects the brand's values, messaging, and visual identity.

7. Project Management: Take ownership of projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Monitor project progress, provide feedback, and resolve any issues that arise during the creative process.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will play a key role in driving the creative direction of the organisation, enhancing brand perception, and achieving strategic goals for new and existing products.
