OVERVIEW

The digital planner is responsible for shaping and executing client-specific digital strategies, maximizing ROI through integrated and standout digital campaigns. They are accountable for successful end-to-end campaign delivery and helping clients build meaningful brands in line with their business objectives.


CORE IMPACT

• Strategic Planning: Understand the client's long-term goals and objectives. Develop a comprehensive digital media and cross-market strategy, focused on driving best in class media activation to enable clients to deliver measurable ROI against their set campaign or business objectives.

• Digital Media Implementation: Ensure the successful execution of the campaign strategy. This is an end-to-end approach, meaning that the planner has a duty to ensure the campaign's implementation is aligned with the agreed plan. Support the account lead by understanding client portfolio and provide plans in line with clients objectives. Ensure brand and product continuity between and through campaigns. Anticipate needs of stakeholders and prepare communication that addresses their needs and concerns.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Digital Acumen: Robust technical understanding of how digital media platforms operate when targeting audiences and be familiar with how consumers interact with the platforms. Stay informed with emerging digital marketing technologies and integrate them into campaigns to enhance effectiveness. Maintain certification related to platform knowledge especially across biddable platforms where the fundamentals are critical to this role.

• Planning: Incorporate the planning principles which drive both incrementality and scale for the client brand. Create an objective-lead media strategy that aligns the media plan and channel with brand, project and campaign with target audience's media consumption habit and changing media landscapes.

• Placements: Ensure that all media plans and channel executions are aligned to the strategy put forward to client ensuring the audiences are adhered to. Proactively manage placements, timelines and material.

• Campaign Diversity: Ensure constant, measurable innovation in the plan for channels, platforms and units across all digital entities such as mobile, gaming, app strategy, branding, lead generation, video ads, etc.

• Optimization: Understand analytics tools to track and measure campaign performance in real time and be able to analyse data for client delivering on measurable outcomes. Generate regular reports and optimize media channels, platforms, and formats to reach the target audience.

• Reporting: Present comprehensive campaign reports alongside client teams that include analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven insights aligned to the strategies presented.

Compliance: Close off campaign or project and follow internal billing protocols. Maintain financial, legal and ethical compliance in all strategy reverts and plans.
