OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly organised, culturally fluent Social Media Manager to lead content execution for one of our brands portfolio in Zambia. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping how our brands connect with local audiences through clear, compelling, and contextually relevant social media communication. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and proficient in Bemba, Nyanja (Chewa), and Tonga, with a strong ability to adapt and transcreate content for regional resonance.
You will drive platform-specific implementation across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok - translating marketing strategies into meaningful, brand-aligned content that delivers impact at scale.

- Your role is to strengthen the digital presence of the Brand in Zambia by delivering high-quality, localised content that supports brand objectives, fosters audience connection, and enhances overall campaign performance.
- You will manage day-to-day community interaction, apply a transcreation lens to copywriting, and contribute to a culture of consistency, accuracy, and strategic responsiveness.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the monthly content planning and calendar development process for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Transcreate and adapt creative assets to ensure language, tone, and cultural references are appropriate for Zambian audiences.
- Write and edit platform-specific copy in English, and when required, localise content in Bemba, Nyanja (Chewa), and Tonga.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams (copy, design, influencer, media, strategy) to execute integrated, brand-aligned campaigns.
- Manage daily community engagement, ensuring timely, professional, and human responses across platforms.
- Monitor real-time feedback and escalate reputational or operational issues in line with protocol.
- Track regional trends, campaign performance, and audience sentiment to inform creative development and reporting.
- Ensure content accuracy through meticulous quality control of visuals, messaging, pricing, and product information.
- Support the Social Intelligence team with market-specific insights, performance metrics, and competitive analysis.
- Participate in client-facing presentations, campaign post-mortems, and internal feedback sessions.
